Flash: Powertrain Control Module (PCM) Updates This bulletin involves reprogramming the PCM with the latest available software. Customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation the technician may find one or more of the following DTCs have been set:P06EF - Engine Restart Performance(3.0L and 3.6L Only). P0556 - Brake Booster Pressure Sensor Circuit Performance. P040B - Exhaust Gas Recirculation Temperature Sensor 1 Circuit Performance(3.6L Only). U1424 - Implausible Engine Torque Signal Received(2017 MY Only). P2681 - Engine Coolant Bypass Valve Control Circuit Open(3.6L Only). P2299 - Brake Pedal Position/Accelerator Pedal Position Incompatible. B23C3 - Stop/Start Disable Switch 1/2 Correlation(3.0L and 3.6L Only). The following DTCs have been changed from a one trip fault to a two trip fault for(3.0L and 3.6L Only):P0335 - Crankshaft Position Sensor Circuit. P0339 - Crankshaft Position Sensor Intermittent. Flash: Transmission Diagnostic And Shift Enhancements This bulletin involves reprogramming the Transmission Control Module (TCM) with the latest available software. Some customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation, a technician may find the following Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) stored in the TCM memory: · U0404 - Invalid Data Received From Gear Shift Control Module "A". In addition, customers may experience the following conditions: · Bumps on 2 - 1 down-shift while braking. · The M on the shifter and Instrument cluster may be blinking. The following improvements are included in this update: · **Improved 2 - 1, 3 - 2 and 6 - 5 down-shifts (6.4L only).** · Improved 1 - 2 light throttle up-shifts.
