Multi-Air Actuator Assembly For 2.4 Tigershark Engine ONLY: When attempting to diagnose P Codes related to the MultiAir Unit, please note that there are multiple causes listed for each in the diagnostic procedure. This procedure must be followed to ensure the correct condition is being addressed. ~ Please verify the following (as listed in the first step in diagnostics) is not present before attempting repair:~ - Low Engine Oil - Incorrect oil filter that does not meet OEM specifications - Oil Dirty or Deteriorated (Lack of scheduled oil changes) - Incorrect Oil Viscosity/Weight - Engine Oil Contaminated (i.e. coolant and/or fuel) - Clogged Oil Galley Screen/Filter (top of block - feeds Multi-Air Unit) If there are any questions please contact: Seth Nankee at cell: (248) 303-5434 seth.nankee@fcagroup.com If no response within 15 minutes, please continue with diagnostics/repair.
09-008-162018-06-11. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. 2.0L Or 2.4L Engine Replacement This bulletin involves replacing the long block due to a crankshaft imbalance condition. These vehicles may exhibit a vibration in the engine.
90036942018-06-11. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Oil Pump Assembly If error code P06DD present on any Pentastar V6 application, please inspect oil pump for relief valve failure. See photo attached. If valve is found out of place please call Bob Jackson (248) 944-0466 bob.jackson@fcagroup.com, or Joe Lovell (734) 309-6467 joe.lovell@fcagroup.com before proceeding. If unable to reach after 15 minutes record the following information and proceed with oil pump replacement and hold part for return to FCA via Fastrack system
90033572018-06-04. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Pentastar Oil Filter Adapter All vehicles equipped with a 3.2L or 3.6L engine; If replacing the Oil Filter Adapter (OFA) due to a leak detected between OFA and block, an O-ring kit (68191356AA) is now available to repair OFA/Block Interface leaks. Using dye will assist in determining source of leak. Ensure OFA Cap Oring is seated in the proper groove in the cap and not damaged or cut. Engineering is seeking information regarding OFA leaks. Intake Manifold Gasket Intake Manifold Gaskets on Pentastar Upgrade (Sales Code ERC/ERF) are reusable provided they are not cut, torn or melted. The gaskets are not required by warranty to be replaced like they are on Pentastar Classic (ERB/EHB). The new gaskets are not interchangeable with Pentastar Classic Intake Manifold Gaskets.
