Service bulletins for the 2010 CAN-AM Spyder
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| Bulletin 2010-7( | 2017-10-15. Service bulletin. STEERING: STEERING WHEEL/HANDLE BAR; STEERING. Revision #1 of Warranty bulletin 2010-7 dated September 7, 2010. This safety recall addressed the problem that a situation may occur where you may need to exert a force greater than expected to initiate the turning of the steering handlebar of your vehicle in order to correct its trajectory. At this increased level of force the handlebar may be turned more than you had intended. If this occurs you may steer your vehicle out of lane which increases the possibility of a crash with other traffic or of a drive off the road. As of April 2, 2013, the return procedure has been updated. |
