A recall listed here may apply to a vehicle of this year, make and model. Only the manufacturer can say whether it applies to one vehicle: check the VIN with the official lookups.

By component

United States: NHTSA, as of 2026-10-19
14V3550002014-06-23. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:IGNITION. This defect can affect the safe operation of the airbag system. Until this recall is performed, customers should remove all items from their key rings, leaving only the ignition key. The key fob (if applicable), should also be removed from the key ring. General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain model year 2005-2009 Buick LaCrosse, 2006-2011 Buick Lucerne, 2000-2005 Cadillac DeVille, 2006-2011 Cadillac DTS, 2006-2014 Chevrolet Impala, and 2006-2007 Chevrolet Monte Carlo vehicles. In the affected vehicles, the weight on the key ring and road conditions or some other jarring event may cause the ignition switch to move out of the run position, turning off the engine. Built 2010-05-04 to 2011-06-02.
10V5530002010-11-05. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:12V/24V/48V BATTERY:CABLES. GENERAL MOTORS IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2010-2011 DTS AND BUICK LUCERNE VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH V8 ENGINES. THE STARTER OR ALTERNATOR CABLE IS IN CONTACT WITH THE POWER STEERING RETURN LINE. IF EITHER THE STARTER OR ALTERNATOR CABLE IS CONTACTING THE POWER STEERING RETURN LINE, THE CABLE COULD WEAR THROUGH THE LINE, CAUSING A POWER STEERING FLUID LEAK. Built 2010-05-05 to 2010-08-25.

20142462014-06-23. Electrical. On certain vehicles, a defect in the ignition switch could allow the switch to move out of the "run" position if the key ring is carrying added weight or the vehicle goes off-road or is subjected to some other jarring event. If this were to occur, engine power, power steering and power braking would be affected, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. The timing of the key movement out of the “run” position, relative to the activation of the sensing algorithm of the crash event, may also result in the airbags not deploying in a subsequent collision, increasing the risk of injury. Correction: For each key, dealers will install two key rings and modify the key ring opening shape. Note: Until the correction is performed, all items should be removed from the key ring.
20103852010-11-04. Electrical. On certain vehicles equipped with a V8 engine, the starter or alternator cable may contact the power steering return line. If either the starter or alternator cable contacts the power steering return line, the cable could wear through the line, cause a power steering fluid leak and a loss of power steering assist. The contact may also wear the cable protective wrap, conduit, and wire insulation, so there is metal to metal contact. This could result in battery drain and if arcing occurs due to engine vibration and roll, it may burn a hole in the return line and allow power steering fluid to leak and potentially ignite, resulting in a possible engine compartment fire. Correction: Dealers will secure and, if necessary, reroute the lines to prevent contact.

A campaign lists a year, a make and a model, and often only some of the vehicles built. A list with nothing on it is not a clearance either. The lookups below check one VIN.
