| 2021056 | 2021-02-09. Fuel System. Issue: On certain motorcycles, the fuel pump flange could crack. If this happens, fuel could leak while the engine is running. Note: This is an expansion of recall 16 002 20 (014) (Transport Canada Recall No. 2020-437). Safety Risk: A fuel leak can create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: BMW will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorcycle to a dealer to replace the fuel pump and auxiliary fuel pump (if equipped) with an improved version. |

| 2013442 | 2013-12-13. Fuel System. On certain motorcycles, cracks could develop in the fuel pump and/or auxiliary fuel pump flange (if equipped). This would result in fuel leaking when the engine is turned on and the fuel system is pressurized. Leaking fuel, in the presence of an ignition source, could lead to a fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect the fuel pump flange(s) and install a reinforcing ring or replace the fuel pump(s), as necessary. |
| 2013369 | 2013-10-29. Powertrain. On certain motorcycles, a problem with the engine throttle valve control software could cause engine stalling. Engine stalling would result in a loss of motive power, which, in conjunction with traffic and road conditions, and the rider's reactions, could increase the risk of a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will update software. |
