Service bulletins for the 2024 BMW i7

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

63 on file from NHTSA, as of 2026-10-19.

B6118242024-09-29. Service campaign. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. A manufacturing defect in high-voltage cells of the high-voltage battery can result in electrolyte leakage which might result in a conductive connection with surrounding components. Depending on the contact resistance, a yellow or red Check Control message will then be displayed; it is permitted for you to continue driving, but this will result in a charging interruption during charging.

B5202242024-09-01. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Customer states they started to receive Check Control messages for the driver’s seat at the end of eachdriving cycle: One or more of the following check control messages (CCM) were present at that time: CCM 434 Seat calibration required. CCM 108 Driver restraint system. Eventually multiple restarts after they first noticed the CCM the seat stopped functioning, the air bag warninglamp illuminated in the instrument cluster, and they received a new Check Control message: CCM 97 Restraint system. There are now 6 DTC faults stored: ACSM6 Air Bag module 930D86 - Function restraint system driver restricted. C95432 - seat module Driver (seat memory), message status backrest locking standardization required. C95434 - seat module Driver (seat memory), message status backrest locking standardizationrecommended. FAS_I20 Driver's Seat module 8029F5 - initialization seat: limited seat adjustment due to missing calibration 802A03 - Functions seat adjustment FAS limited available. 802A05 - ÜKB: Shut-off ÜKB because of missing calibration. Also, one or both of the following check control messages (CCM) may currently be present: CCM 108 “Driver restraint system” CCM 109 “Passenger restraint system” The seat initialization and memory has been lost. Or Repeat failure of seat initialization after completing the test module via ISTA.

B6101242024-07-25. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE:BODY. When driving over rough surfaces, a low-frequency rattling noise can be heard inside the vehicle's cabin. The noise typically sounds as though it is coming from the front right footwell area.
B3701242024-07-25. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN. While driving at low speeds (15-40 mph) on flat road surfaces, a knocking noise from the front axle may beheard during steering wheel movements.
B3301242024-07-25. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN. The vehicle will no longer move when put into gear. There may also be loud noise coming from the HEAT*(electric drivetrain)/Rear axles. *German acronym for Highly integrated electric drivetrain topology- Hochintegrierte Elektrifizierte Antriebs-Topologie
B3103242024-07-25. Service bulletin. STEERING. When rolling forward or backwards with the steering at full lock (left or right) without the brake applied, a“groan”-type noise may be heard from the front axle. The noise is most noticeable after load reversal. See attached video V31 03 24. The noise can be heard beginning at the 7 second timestamp.
B6114242024-07-01. Service campaign. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. BMW AG has issued a Delivery Stop (effective June 14, 2024) on certain Model Year 2023 - 2024 BMW vehicles that were produced between August 4, 2021, and May 2, 2024.
