Service bulletins for the 2022 BMW i4

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

SIB5109222022-08-22. Service bulletin. VISIBILITY; VISIBILITY:REARVIEW MIRRORS/DEVICES:EXTERIOR; VISIBILITY:REARVIEW MIRRORS/DEVICES. A "squeaking" noise might be heard from the driver's exterior mirror when it's folding in and out. The gap (4 & 5) between the base and cap of the exterior mirror is too small due to manufacturing oversight. This tight gap only applies to the driver's side mirror, because the passenger mirror was produced with different tooling.
