By component
| 07V368000 | 2007-08-15. STEERING: STEERING WHEEL/HANDLE BAR. ON CERTAIN MOTORCYCLES, THE CLAMPING BLOCKS AND THE TOP FORK BRIDGE WERE NOT MANUFACTURED ACCORDING TO SPECIFICATIONS. CONSEQUENTLY, THE HANDLEBARS MIGHT NOT BE HELD SECURELY IN POSITION. |
|---|---|
| 07V151000 | 2007-04-03. STRUCTURE:MOTORCYCLE:KICKSTAND/CENTER STAND. ON CERTAIN MOTORCYCLES, THE WELD BETWEEN THE SIDE STAND AND THE FRAME BOTTOM SECTION WAS NOT POSITIONED PROPERLY. THE LOAD-BEARING CAPABILITY OF THE SIDE STAND IS AFFECTED. AS A RESULT, THE SIDE STAND COULD FAIL. Built 2006-06-23 to 2006-08-31. |
| 2017428 | 2017-09-01. Lights And Instruments. Certain motorcycles with dealer installed accessory turn signals may not comply with the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CVMSS) 108 - Lighting System and Retroreflective Devices. The size of the lens on the accessory turn signals may be too small, and therefore would not meet the requirements of the standard. This could reduce vehicle conspicuity to following and approaching road users, and increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will replace the accessory turn signals with factory indicators that meet the requirements of the standard. |
|---|---|
| 2007272 | 2007-08-27. Steering. On certain motorcycles, the clamping blocks and top fork bridge were not manufactured according to specifications. Consequently, the handlebars might not be held securely in position. As a result, the handlebars may move out of their correct position when the motorcycle is being maneuvered, or when it is being ridden. This could result in a loss of vehicle control and a crash with injury or death. Correction: Dealers will replace the top fork bridge and both clamping blocks. |
| 2007115 | 2007-04-11. Other. On certain motorcycles, a weld between the side stand and the frame bottom section was not positioned properly, and as a consequence, the load-bearing capability of the side stand has been compromised. As a result, under load, the side stand could fail. If this occurred, the motorcycle could fall to the ground and injure a person sitting on the motorcycle or a bystander. Correction: Dealers will replace the frame bottom section. |
A campaign lists a year, a make and a model, and often only some of the vehicles built. A list with nothing on it is not a clearance either. The lookups below check one VIN.
