Service bulletins for the 2020 Bentley Continental

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

905 on file from NHTSA, as of 2026-10-19.

In addition, the gapping and fit between the veneer face fascia panel of the BRD and the passenger and drivers side fascia panels may differ from one side to the other. The minimum functional gaps between the BRD and the passenger/driver fascia and the switch pack if not maintained can impact on the rotational operation of the BRD unit Technical background: The chrome brightware strip is fixed to the veneer face fascia panel with no separate adjustment and as such can appear to be misaligned. The veneer face fascia panel relies on fixed location pins that may be out of tolerance. Rework the veneer face fascia panel to align the chrome brightware strip and/or the gapping between the BRD and the passenger and drivers side fascia panels.

2063926/22021-11-05. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE. Technical background: The right and left hand convertible header flaps are operated by individual cords. A small batch of header flap cords were manufactured out of specification (to short). During operation, the out of specification cords pull against the eyelet, this can result in damaged/broken eyelets the cord then becomes detached from the flap, resulting in a clash condition between the flap and the top of the header trim panel. Remedy The right and left hand header trim eyelets require checking for any signs of damage/wear as described in Section 1 of the Work section. NOTE: Should no signs of damage/wear be found on the right and left hand eyelets, only the right and left hand cords should be replaced as described in Section 1. However, in the event that wear/damage is evident, the right and left hand header flaps must be replaced as described in Section 2. Please note: The right and left hand header flap kits contain all of the required parts. Customer notification Customers do not need to be informed directly of this campaign. Please ensure that all affected vehicles are checked and repaired at the nearest opportunity or during a service visit. You should also inform your new and used car sales departments so that the vehicles affected can be checked and, if necessary, repaired immediately (not just before sale).

2053492/72021-10-07. Service bulletin. SUSPENSION. Air spring fault finding. Customer statement / workshop findings: The front and/or rear suspension appears to have dropped. Technical background: The list of Bentley vehicles below are fitted with air springs as part of the suspension system. Should air leak from the air springs, this will cause the suspension to drop. However, the dropping of the suspension does not necessarily mean that the air spring is faulty. The Measure section of this TPI describes how and where to check for air leaks on the front and rear air springs, the air pump compressor, pipes, valve unit and air reservoirs. This includes potential air leak points on the air springs and also the locations of an air leak that can be repaired without the need to replace an air spring.

The summaries are NHTSA's. Each bulletin's page links NHTSA's copy of the manufacturer's document.
