Tyre tread/sidewall crack(s) Customer Statement: -Cracks evident in the sidewall and/or tread pattern Technical Background: -The issue is mainly evident on vehicles with very low usage This is a result of the tyre compound hardening due to the following: -Tyre age -Tyre pressure not adjusted to specification -Low mileage/vehicle usage -Vehicle storage conditions

2033864/62021-10-04. Service bulletin. WHEELS. Customer statement / workshop findings: Unable to remove Accessory valve caps, Figure 1 shows an example of the caps. Technical background: We have observed instances where the caps have been difficult to remove once fitted, the issue is caused by corrosion. The valve stem itself is made from aluminium and the accessory valve caps are chromium plated brass, it is possible under certain environmental conditions, particularly winter road salt, for corrosion to take place between these dissimilar metals. Measure: The solution is to apply a thin smear of silicon-based grease, such as Dow Corning high vacuum grease, to the external threads of the valve stem prior to fitting the accessory valve cap. Grease should be applied any time the cap is removed and grease is not evident
