Service bulletins for the 2019 Bentley Bentayga
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| 2062365/2 | 2022-07-07. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING; FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE. Bentayga and New Flying Spur Hybrid DTC P103A00 evident Engine Oil Fuel Portion Too High. Customer statement / workshop findings: - Warning message within the DIP - The message asks the customer to warm up engine accompanied by a yellow warning (Figure 1) No other symptoms are experienced. Workshop findings - DTC P103A00 evident - Engine Oil Fuel Portion Too High (Figure 2) Smell of fuel in the engine oil Technical background: The warning is caused by the level of unburnt fuel in the engine oil. This value is calculated by the Engine Control Module (ECM) and is based on the driver usage pattern The more cold starts the Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) is exposed to the higher the chance of fuel making its way into the engine oil via the cylinders When the fuel calculation reaches the pre-programmed amount this then causes the DTC to be triggered |
| 2061044/4 | 2022-07-07. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT ADAPTIVE/MOBILITY; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE. Bentayga Hybrid - Distance covered when in electric mode is not as expected. Customer statement / workshop findings: Customer reports the Hybrid E-range (Electric Driving Range) does not achieve the expected distance. Technical background: VERY IMPORTANT: Please ensure all guidelines within the repair manual are strictly followed before and whilst conducting any work on vehicles with a High voltage system Electric range can depend on multiple factors, e.g. driving style, road gradients, ambient temperature, use of heating / cooling functions, and the use of other electrical consumers on the vehicle. The tests within the Measure section should be carried out (Subject to a genuine customer complaint) to check/confirm that the vehicle is operating correctly and being used efficiently By completing the checks within the Measure section, it should then be possible to determine that the vehicle is operating correctly and within specification. The customer’s Home charging equipment should be used when conducting the Measure section checks |

Workshop findings: The noise can be reproduced and clearly assigned to the braking system. Service: Note: For correct diagnosis and repair the attached Flowchart must be followed. 1. Check the overall condition of the brakes to determine if the brake noise can be attributed to one of the causes listed in the Technical Background section of this TPI. If the noise is not a result of one these causes, proceed with point 2. 2. Record the noise and frequency For the frequency analysis and the noise recording we recommend using the Chassis Ear Tool WT 10437. To record the noise and measure the frequency using WT 10437 Chassis Ear Tool follow these instructions; Refer to File recording in the WT 10437 user instructions. |
