| 2005024 | 2005-02-01. Brakes. On certain vehicles, testing procedures designed to verify that the ABS brakes are wired correctly and that all hardware is operational were not performed properly during vehicle assembly. As a result, the ABS brakes may have a system fault that may not be detected by the ABS electronic control unit and therefore will not illuminate the ABS warning light on the dash. Correction: Dealers will perform a complete diagnostic test on the ABS braking system to ensure all components and wiring are functioning as designed. |
