A431319 2034162-2017-11-17. Service bulletin. SUSPENSION. The adaptive damping suspension control module, J250, cannot be coded via SVM spec/actual after it has been replaced. A new generation of the adaptive damping suspension control module, J250, was placed into production. The new generation control module must be coded and parameterized using an SVM code, which is listed in the attached ETKA Parts Bulletin, 9-119. This parts bulletin can be found in the ETKA Remarks for the part number.
A461341 2027636-2017-11-17. Service bulletin. SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 46 number 13-30 dated March 13, 2013. Brakes on vehicles produced before September 3, 2012 (calendar week 36 of 2012), squeak or squeal when used with light to moderate force.

The MMI control knob joystick is loose or has fallen off. Only vehicles with navigation and without MMI touch are affected.
A011258 2031458-2017-11-08. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. MIL on, with one or more DTCs stored in the 01 (Engine Control Module). Under extreme driving conditions, such as a driving profile of mainly short distance (stop and go) driving high crankcase pressure can lead to the above described DTC codes. By changing the crankcase pressure valve to a lower operating pressure this condition can be improved and eliminate the mentioned possible DTC codes. Along with the crankcase pressure being lowered, a new ECM software level is required to compensate for new crankcase pressure.
A201225 2031607-2017-11-08. Service bulletin. FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE; EQUIPMENT. The instrument cluster displays a fuel range of zero miles before the fuel tank is completely empty. Upon refueling at a displayed fuel range of zero miles, the fuel tank accepts fewer gallons than what is shown in the owner? s manual capacity chart. To ensure mobility, a small amount of fuel is still available when a fuel range of zero miles is initially displayed. Additionally, the fuel range is calculated based on the most recent driving style. Therefore, the actual amount of fuel remaining may vary when a fuel range of zero is initially displayed.
A421214 2026049-2017-11-08. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN; POWER TRAIN:AXLE ASSEMBLY:AXLE SHAFT. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 42 number 12 ? 13 dated September 5, 2012. Oil leak in the area of the Quattro sports rear differential (PR-PDU, PDR, or GH2) side flange, or axle shaft inboard flange. Insufficient sealant on the protective cap on the inboard constant velocity joint at the rear differential on vehicle with a sports differential. Optimized use of sealer in production from 07/10/2011.
A911263 2021151-2017-11-08. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; EQUIPMENT:APPLIANCE:AIR CONDITIONER. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 91 number 11 ? 83 dated April 15, 2011. The customer may report that the illumination of the dash insert, the air conditioning control panel or the inside light flickers when briefly pressing the accelerator in P or N or when shifting down while driving downhill. Only vehicles with PR number 8GH may be affected. When high electricity consumers are switched off and the battery is fully charged, the energy generated by the alternator is sometimes too great for the power system to absorb. This may lead to briefly increased voltage, and the lights mentioned above may briefly flicker. This characteristic is caused by the alternator design and is a normal condition of the vehicle.
A941292 2012749-2017-11-08. Service bulletin. EXTERIOR LIGHTING. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 94 number 11-52 dated October 11, 2011. Condensation is visible on the inside of the headlight, taillight, fog light, side marker light, front turn signal, daytime running lights, or third brake light lens. Damp air settles on the inside of a cold lens, which creates condensation. The headlight circulation system allows air from the outside to flow through the headlights. This open waterprotected ventilation system (needed for pressure compensation) creates different climate zones in the headlight: very warm areas, where the lens is warmed up by the light, and relatively cool areas, where the lens is cooled own by the air flow. Considerable differences in humidity and temperature between the inside and the outside of the headlights, even while driving, can lead to condensation. This is especially true in cold and wet weather, but it can also happen after a car wash, after steam cleaning the engine or the front end, with overnight temperature changes, etc. This phenomenon is more visible on lenses made of clear glass than on lenses with patterns. The moisture does not affect the headlight function (light performance) and does not lead to corrosion or other damage to headlight parts.

A011263 2031458-2017-11-08. Service bulletin. ENGINE; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 01 number 12-58 dated November 5, 2012. MIL on, with DTCs stored in the 01 (Engine Control Module).
A171234 2030197-2017-11-08. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT; ENGINE. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 17 number 12-33 dated November 21, 2012. Engine oil consumption too high. In order to provide effective lubrication and cooling of internal engine components, all internal combustion engines consume a certain amount of engine oil. Oil consumption varies from engine to engine and may change significantly over the life of the engine. Typically engines with specified break-in periods consume more oil during the break-in period, and the oil consumption will stabilize after the break-in period. Refer to the Owner? s Manual for specific break-in procedures. Under normal conditions, the rate of oil consumption depends on the quality and viscosity of the oil, the RPM at which the engine is operated, the ambient temperature, and road conditions. Additional factors are the amount of oil dilution from water condensation or fuel residue and the oxidation level of the oil. Under certain driving conditions internal engine pressure conditions in the 3.0 TFSI engine can negatively influence the rate of oil consumption. This condition can occur while the vehicle is operated in metro driving conditions, for example: Stop and go traffic with extended idle periods.
A301216 2032224-2017-11-08. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN:CLUTCH ASSEMBLY:PEDAL/HAND LEVER(MOTORCYCLE); ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Clicking or knocking noise when pressing the clutch pedal. Impulse noticeable when pressing the clutch pedal. Excess clearance between mounting of clutch master cylinder and pedal assembly.
A351206 2030477-2017-11-08. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 35 number 12-05 dated August 10, 2012. Gearbox malfunction message in cluster. DTCs are logged. The DFCC is the 4-6 digit code that is typically listed before the fault code. Fault codes and DFCC codes must match exactly or this TSB should not be followed. Poor internal contact area on circuit board will lead to faults. Oil additives can cause the plastic circuit plates to delaminate causing contact loss.
A351208 2032211-2017-11-08. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Gearbox warning light on. Entries are logged individually or in combination, with P179E logged first (using DTC environmental data). If P179E is not logged first this TSB does not apply (using DTC environmental data), Continue with standard diagnosis. Entries are logged individually or in combination in the diagnosis protocol. The times the DTCs are logged are not relevant. The DFCC is the 4-6 digit code that is typically listed before the fault code . Fault codes and DFCC codes must match exactly or this TSB should not be followed. Incorrect driving mode sensor module.
A901238 2032113-2017-11-08. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; EQUIPMENT. The customer may state that the outside ambient temperature display is incorrect. To achieve a smoothening effect of the displayed outside ambient temperature, the value shown does not instantaneously follow the temperature sensor measurement. The display will not change faster than 4° F (2° C) per minute. This concept applies to both falling and rising temperatures. A programming strategy is also implemented to avoid incorrect readings on a parked vehicle, due to the temperature sensor being affected by outside influences such as radiant heat from the engine bay, elevated road surface temperatures, etc.
A961485 2027416-2017-11-08. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT ADAPTIVE/MOBILITY. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 96 number 13-61 dated May 28, 2013.
