When the vehicle is completely refueled, the vehicle range (?distance to empty?) that is displayed is different than the vehicle range that was displayed the last time the vehicle was completely refueled. ? The displayed vehicle range drops inconsistently. ? After the vehicle is refueled, the displayed vehicle range does not change for a long period of time. ? When the vehicle is driven on hilly roads for a long period of time, the displayed vehicle range suddenly changes by a significant amount. ? There are no DTCs related to fuel senders stored in the instrument cluster control module, J285 (address word 17). This condition does not involve or affect the accuracy of the fuel level indicator, but only the estimated distance to empty display on the on-board computer.

This condition may be caused when the brake pedal and the accelerator pedal are depressed simultaneously. Drivers who drive with their left foot resting on the brake pedal are prone to experience this condition. With the introduction of Electronic Power Control (EPC) (no accelerator cable) to fuel injection systems, an engine RPM control feature has been incorporated into the engine electronic control system software. Customer states that the engine returns to idle speed of approximately 1,400 RPM although the accelerator is depressed, and/or the vehicle hesitates (lacks power on take-off).

Audi Side Assist deactivates itself immediately after the engine starts. DTC C1115F2 (Lane change assistance control module 2 Function limitation due to insufficient voltage) is logged in the lane change assistance control module, J769 (3C). The lane change assistance control module, J769 (3C), checks voltage after each engine on cycle. During this check, the voltage can be incorrectly reported which causes the DTC to set.
