Service bulletins for the 2010 Audi R8
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

On manual vehicles, noise may changewhen clutch is depressed. The R8 is not equipped with a dual mass flywheel therefore the engine vibrations go directly into the gearbox. The gears which are not engaged will vibrate and cause a rattling noise. This noise will not affect performance of the vehicle. Replacing the transmission will not change this condition. |
