Service bulletins for the 2013 Audi Q7

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

1239 on file from NHTSA, as of 2026-10-19.

A871447 2010146-2017-12-14. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:APPLIANCE:AIR CONDITIONER. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 87 number 12-27 dated April 24, 2012. There is an unpleasant, musty odor coming from the heating and ventilation system. The odor usually occurs when the vehicle has been sitting unused for five hours or more. The odor usually occurs within 20 to 60 seconds after the vehicle is started. Condensation, which is a normal condition in all A/C systems, can cause a musty odor. If the odor is noticeable in the vehicle when the engine is not turned on, the cause may be mold and mildew in the passenger compartment, and not be related to the A/C system. All other possible sources of the odor must be investigated before this bulletin can be performed.
A001459 2029737-2017-12-14. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 00 number 12-34 dated June 6, 2012. The process of draining oil through the drain plug is not always tidy. When oil is drained through the drain plug, the oil might spill on components around the oil pan area. If it is not properly cleaned up, this spilled oil could drip after the procedure is complete, causing unnecessary customer complaints.
A011396 2023360-2017-12-05. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 01 number 13-79 dated March 20, 2013. MIL on. DTCs are stored in the engine control module (address word 01). Excess rattling (?diesel clatter?) coming from engine. No start or hard starting condition. Contaminated fuel found in fuel system. Rust or metal debris found in fuel system. Contaminated or incorrect fuel can cause performance, drivability, and/or fuel delivery problems. Additional component replacement may be necessary to ensure that no contamination or debris remains after repair. Reasons for fuel contamination can include: water ingress in the fuel station?s holding tanks, errors made in fuel transport, or incorrect fuel has been dispensed into the vehicle.
A011392 2033807-2017-12-05. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. MIL on. DTCs are stored in the engine control module (ECM). No relevant component or electrical problems are found when Guided Fault Finding (GFF) is run on the stored fault codes. GFF must be run on any stored fault codes to ensure the cause of the fault is not hardware-related. Software improvement with more robust onboard diagnostics.
A011389 2033768-2017-12-05. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. MIL on. A cylinder misfire fault (DTC P0301 ? P0306) with DTC P130A is stored in the engine control module (ECM), J623 (address word 01).
A011303 2033919-2017-12-05. Service bulletin. PARKING BRAKE:DRIVELINE:HYDRAULIC:ACTUATOR. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 01 number 13-02 dated May 29, 2013. MIL on. DTCs are stored in the engine control module. There may be slight power reduction at high RPMs. One of the vacuum actuators on intake runner bank 1 or bank 2 is defective.
A011302 2033919-2017-12-05. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 01 number 13-98 dated May 17, 2013. MIL on. DTCs are stored in the engine control module. There may be slight power reduction at high RPMs. One of the vacuum actuators on intake runner bank 1 or bank 2 is defective.
A001349 2033576-2017-12-05. Service bulletin. ENGINE. Although the correct amount of oil was added to the engine during an oil change service, a check of the oil level shows that the oil level is not okay. When an unapproved aftermarket speed-filling device is used to add oil to the engine, the increased oil flow rate may force oil into the intake manifold or combustion chamber, creating the potential for engine damage.
IQS Newsletter M2017-12-05. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:OTHER:OWNERS/SERVICE/OTHER MANUAL. This document contains the Auid On Track - IQS Newsletter.
Accessories Oper2017-12-05. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT. This is an advance notice for Audi of America employees. This notice contains information for the accessories operations technical bulletin.

A901451 2021151-2017-12-05. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:APPLIANCE:AIR CONDITIONER. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 91 number 12-63 dated October 4, 2012. The customer may report flickering of the dash insert lighting, of the A/C control panel lighting, or of the inside light. The condition occurs when the accelerator is pressed while the vehicle is in P or N, or when the vehicle is shifted down when moving downhill. Only vehicles with PR number 8GH may be affected. When high electricity consumers are switched off when the battery is fully charged, the energy generated by the alternator is sometimes too great for the power system to absorb. This may lead to briefly-increased voltage, causing the lights to flicker.
A441456 2022563-2017-12-05. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 44 number 14-50 dated May 14, 2014. Customer feels vibration in the seat, vehicle floor, footwell, pedals, or steering wheel. This condition does not lead to any handling concerns or loss of vehicle control. Customer feels the vibration while driving at highway speeds from 55 ? 80 mph (88 ? 128 km/h). This bulletin is not applicable if this vehicle has a Repair Authorization on this topic. If an applicable Repair Authorization is not followed, the claim will not be paid.
A201442 2035591-2017-12-05. Service bulletin. FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 20 number 14-30 dated December 13, 2013. Customer reports hearing noises from the rear of vehicle or from fuel tank area. Normal fuel system pulsation can cause slight vibrations in the pressure regulator on the flange located on the right side of the fuel tank. This pulsation also causes the long, curved fuel lines to vibrate and make a jarring noise in the tank.

Because of a system change, the adjustment values for the service dipstick T40178 were removed from the repair manual.
A011491 2028842-2017-12-05. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:OTHER:OWNERS/SERVICE/OTHER MANUAL. Customer vehicle is fitted with unauthorized ECM tuning. All systems on Audi vehicles are engineered to work together using the factory calibrations, which have been extensively tested and validated before the vehicle is released for sale. The Audi warranty coverage is based on the results of developing the vehicle under the factory calibration. If a vehicle is equipped with unauthorized hardware or software tuning, it can cause stress on vehicle components outside of intended design limits, and can cause damage and additional wear. Subsequently, factory powertrain warranty coverage is reduced or voided.
A011493 2033807-2017-12-05. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 01 number 13-92 dated May 7, 2013. A481462 2017266-2017-12-05. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 48 number 14-59 dated June 2, 2014. Electrically-adjustable steering column adjustment is restricted and does not adjust vertically. Incorrect operation of Easy Entry is not the cause. It is unlikely that external forces have led to the loss of the stored end positions of the adjustment movement. Seat adjustments can be used to maintain the 10-inch minimum recommended distance from the steering wheel in case of airbag deployment. The axial adjustment is still functional during this condition.
A641436 2020552-2017-12-05. Service bulletin. VISIBILITY:WINDSHIELD. Windshield is streaked, has a snakeskin appearance, or its surface feels rough. Residue from industrial fallout as well as normal road dirt and grime may accumulate on windshield.
