Service bulletins for the 2012 Audi Q7

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

1131 on file from NHTSA, as of 2026-10-19.

011469203666812022-10-31. Service bulletin. FUEL SYSTEM, DIESEL; FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE. When diagnosing the condition listed above on a common rail diesel vehicle, if no root cause is found after all GFF diagnostic procedures have been performed, it may be necessary to check for metallic particles in the high pressure fuel pump using the procedure in the Service section of this bulletin.
011466203066522022-10-31. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:EXHAUST SYSTEM. The quality of the auxiliary exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) cooler modules manufactured within a certain timeframe may be inadequate. The vacuum actuator diaphragm may have leaks. A faulty auxiliary EGR cooler will trigger a P310E fault. Faulty operation of the auxiliary EGR cooler can also trigger the P040B fault, but there is no issue with the temperature sensor.
011462203616932022-10-31. Service bulletin. FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE; FUEL SYSTEM, DIESEL. In tank, fuel pump may be making a straining noise. Diesel fuel requires additive blending or ?winterization? to be useable at low temperatures. At temperatures below 20° F (-7° C), No. 2 Diesel with insufficient winterization blending may lose its fluidity due to wax separation. This may clog the fuel filter or in-tank filter, preventing the engine from operating properly. No. 2 Diesel is blended by refineries to various levels of winterization (minimum useable temperature) based on month, geographical location, and the 10th percentile minimum ambient air temperature for the given region. Although rare, during sudden periods of extreme low temperatures (record lows), fuel stations may not be adequately prepared with No. 2 Diesel fuel with sufficient winterization to resist wax formation or ?gelling?.

011396202336042022-10-31. Service bulletin. FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE. Contaminated or incorrect fuel can cause performance, drivability, and/or fuel delivery problems. Additional component replacement may be necessary to ensure that no contamination or debris remains after repair. Reasons for fuel contamination can include: water ingress in the fuel station?s holding tanks, errors made in fuel transport, or incorrect fuel has been dispensed into the vehicle.
011390203376712022-10-31. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. 01 MIL on (DTC P1196/P1197/P0135, heater circuit fault lambda sensor) - Repair Authorization
011383203300112022-10-31. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Under certain driving conditions, the secondary air ports in the cylinder head can accumulate carbon over time, causing a restriction.
011380202434422022-10-31. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC. After recognizing that the boost pressure is too low or too high, the engine control module switches to emergency operation and the engine performance is reduced via the injected fuel quantity (?limp mode?).
011366203145832022-10-31. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:EXHAUST SYSTEM:EMISSION CONTROL:CRANKCASE (PCV). Under extreme driving conditions, such as a driving profile of mainly short distance (stop and go) driving high crankcase pressure can lead to the above described DTC codes.
011349203545422022-10-31. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Under certain driving conditions, the secondary air ports in the cylinder head can accumulate carbon over time, causing a restriction. The ODIS tester can identify the state of the restriction, and will request that the system is cleaned in order to prevent the MIL from illuminating.
011348203300152022-10-31. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Under certain driving conditions, the secondary air ports in the cylinder head can accumulate carbon over time, causing a restriction.
011337203300142022-10-31. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Under certain driving conditions, the secondary air ports in the cylinder head can accumulate carbon over time, causing a restriction.
011335203545412022-10-31. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. During reset of the service reminder, the following message appears on the ODIS tester: ?Secondary air injection system - checking secondary air mass?. Under certain driving conditions, the secondary air ports in the cylinder head can accumulate carbon over time, causing a restriction. The ODIS tester can identify the state of the restriction, and will request that the system is cleaned in order to prevent the MIL from illuminating.
011313203435912022-10-31. Service bulletin. FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. In vehicles produced during a certain period, the AdBlue filter seal within the level sensor module may have been damaged during the assembly process. This damaged seal can allow unfiltered AdBlue to be sucked into the delivery system, subsequently damaging the pressure sensor and reducing agent pump V437.

The summaries are NHTSA's. Each bulletin's page links NHTSA's copy of the manufacturer's document.
