If these pieces are not removed prior to the installation and operation of the replacement engine, the pieces may be drawn into the combustion chamber, which can cause a knocking noise and subsequent serious engine damage.
A011328 2033224-2017-10-31. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 01 number 13-10 dated June 24, 2013. This also applies to any messages related to AdBlue shown in the DIS. These procedures are mandatory until further notice. Routine maintenance, PDI, and repair of other systems do not require prior authorization or a TAC ticket. Any repairs related to the engine, diesel fuel delivery, exhaust after-treatment (SCR/AdBlue or emissions) systems, or transmission completed without Repair Authorization via a Technical Assistance Center (TAC) contact will not be reimbursed. In an effort to gain information on the systems listed above, we are asking that you contact TAC before replacing any parts. This will assist us in diagnosing any potential issues.
