Service bulletins for the 2014 Audi A7
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| 134420354631 | 2022-08-01. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT; BACK OVER PREVENTION. In order to provide effective lubrication and cooling of internal engine components, all internal combustion engines consume a certain amount of engine oil. Oil consumption varies from engine to engine, and may change significantly over the life of the engine. Typically, engines with specified break-in periods consume more oil during the break-in period, and the oil consumption will stabilize after the break-in period. Refer to the Owner?s Manual for specific break-in procedures. Under normal conditions, the rate of oil consumption depends on the quality and viscosity of the oil, the RPM at which the engine is operated, and the ambient temperature and road conditions. Additional factors include the amount of oil dilution from water condensation or fuel residue and the oxidation level of the oil. Utilizing the advanced sensor technology integrated in models equipped with the 3.0 TFSI engine, it is possible to measure oil consumption electronically via a Guided Function test plan. |

Customer states all or part of the picture generated from the top view camera system has an unnatural hue. To achieve a natural-looking top view camera image, the camera system constantly adjusts the displayed colors based on environmental conditions. In certain lighting conditions, the system responds to vibrant nearby colors (from the vehicle or other objects) by automatically adding a complementary color to rebalance toward white, which can lead to color deviations. For example, a red object can cause the system to add a green hue. The strength of the added color depends on the brightness of the object and the ambient light. |
