Service bulletins for the 2013 Audi A6
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

DTC 00165 (Transmission Park/Neutral Position Switch -F322- Incorrect Signal Sporadic) may also be stored in the comfort system central control module, J393 (46). The entry is caused by an overly sensitive diagnosis in the TCM, due to an error in the engine control module (ECM), J623, software. This error does not affect the driving characteristics. |
| A371302 2029027- | 2017-11-17. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE; POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:CONTROL MODULE (TCM/PCM/TECM). Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 37 number 13-99 dated April 1, 2013. Customer may report transmission warning light is illuminated. In some cases, the vehicle will not move after being started and placed into gear. After key cycle, the vehicle drives without restriction. DTCs are stored in the transmission control module (TCM), J217 (02). If DFCCs do not match exactly, this TSB does not apply. The DTCs are stored due to an issue with the transmission control module software. |

Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 37 number 13-97 dated March 4, 2013. Customer may report transmission warning lamp illuminated in instrument cluster. After ignition cycle, the warning message is no longer present. DTC P074100 (Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Performance) or "Stuck Off" is stored in transmission control module (TCM), J217 (address word 03). The fault occurs with ATF temperature below 60o C. Check for this temperature range in the extended environmental conditions of the diagnosis protocol. This TSB only applies if the ATF level is correct and there are no leaks. |
| A271317 2033524- | 2017-11-17. Service bulletin. VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL:CRUISE CONTROL. Cruise control deactivates sporadically or cannot be activated. A new set speed cannot be saved. | A211313 2031245- | 2017-11-17. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE:GASOLINE:TURBO/SUPERCHARGER. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 21 number 13-12 dated April 1, 2013. MIL on, DTC P0299 (Negative Pressure Deviation) is stored. Turbocharger waste gate flap has play. Under certain driving conditions, the linkage for the waste gate actuation can encounter excessive wear which leads to play at the waste gate flap. This leads to boost escaping through a loose flap, which sets DTC P0299 (Negative Pressure Deviation). |
| A211312 2031245- | 2017-11-17. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE:GASOLINE:TURBO/SUPERCHARGER. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 21 number 13-11 dated March 6, 2013. |
| A191336 2033491- | 2017-11-17. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Customer may report coolant leaking from the engine area. The leak can be traced to the connection of the water pump and the hose leading to the heater core. The seal ring is not the cause of the leak. |
| A011386 2033630- | 2017-11-17. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL; ENGINE. MIL on. Rough idle. DTCs are stored in the Engine Control Module (ECM), J623 (address word 01). Engine may have reduced performance without significant loss of power or stalling. Because there are a number of different misfire faults (unrelated to ignition coil operation) that could cause the MIL to illuminate, proper Guided Fault Finding (GFF) misfire diagnosis must be followed before any ignition coils are replaced. |
| A001348 2002047- | 2017-11-17. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:OTHER:OWNERS/SERVICE/OTHER MANUAL. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 00 number 11-19 dated April 8, 2011. This TSB contains information on technician preparation when calling the Audi Technical Assistance Center |
| A001346 2031850- | 2017-11-17. Service bulletin. ENGINE; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 00 number 13-44 dated January 17, 2013. Engine and ignition shut off when driver's door is opened. Electronic Parking Brake (EPB) activates when driver's door is opened (A6/A7/S6/S7 only). |
| A011372 2033211- | 2017-11-17. Service bulletin. FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE. Customer may report MIL on and loss of performance. Under extreme driving conditions (e.g. long idle periods or extended stop and go traffic), high temperatures build up in the rail system and can lead to steam bubbles in the fuel. This causes temporary drops in fuel pressure, causing DTC P008700 (fuel rail pressure too low) to be stored. Freeze frame data will indicate those extreme driving conditions: coolant temperature is above 102? C. |
| A011373 2033223- | 2017-11-17. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. The engine warning light is on after engine replacement. The engine is not running roughly. However, the engine control module, J623 (01), is storing one or more of the following engine misfire fault codes: DTCs P0300 - P0304. The fault codes occur at light load, between 8% and 14% accelerator pedal position. The programmed values for the misfiring recognition are not automatically reset by deleting the memory once. |
The summaries are NHTSA's. Each bulletin's page links NHTSA's copy of the manufacturer's document.
