Service bulletin A011368 2032900-
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary
MIL on with DTC P008700 (Rail pressure too low). The fault listed can occur under certain driving conditions. This is caused by an incorrect software setting. In some scenarios, such as extended idling or heavy stop-and-go traffic, this could cause a slight misinterpretation of the data and possibly an activation of the Malfunction Indicator Light.

| A011374 2033211- | 2017-11-17. Service bulletin. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 01 number 13-72 dated March 5, 2013. Customer may report MIL on and loss of performance. Under extreme driving conditions (e.g. long idle periods or extended stop and go traffic), high temperatures build up in the rail system and can lead to steam bubbles in the fuel. This causes temporary drops in fuel pressure, causing DTC P008700 (fuel rail pressure too low) to be stored. Freeze frame data will indicate those extreme driving conditions: coolant temperature is above 102? C. |
