Central locking via remote control does not work either sporadically or permanently. The locks can still be operated manually. Missing synchronization between the remote control key and vehicle because the battery has been disconnected or the battery of the remote control has been replaced. If other senders operate in the same frequency range (mobile phones, TV stations, wireless headphones, baby monitors, other vehicle remote controls, etc.), the remote control key may have been temporarily switched off because a clear identification of the remote control key is not possible. This is necessary to prevent an unintentional unlocking of the vehicle by other unrelated senders.
A911379 2033406-2017-11-17. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:WIRING. Front parking assistance does not work. The message: "ACC and Audi braking guard not available" may appear. The customer may report that the handheld transmitter cannot be programmed to the garage door opener control module, J530. The customer?s door opener system may not be compatible with J530. The battery in the handheld transmitter may be too weak for a good signal. The battery charge may be sufficient to operate the garage door opener, but not enough to program the remote transmitter to the vehicle system. The battery in the handheld transmitter may be too weak for a good signal. The battery charge may be sufficient to operate the garage door opener, but not enough to program the remote transmitter to the vehicle system. In A4 model years 2005?2006 and A3 model year 2009, the actual location of the garage door opener control module differs from the location shown in the owner's manual (opposite side of front bumper). The customer may misunderstand the programming procedure, particularly if the customer?s HomeLink® opener system is using an alternate code. The handheld transmitter?s programming function may become inoperative, or the transmitter is too far away from J530. Interference prevents the communication between handheld transmitter and J530. Interference prevents the communication between handheld transmitter and J530. If the vehicle flashes during the programming of a handheld transmitter, this does not necessarily indicate that the programming was successful; it only indicates that the vehicle has recognized and saved a signal.
A911517 2042013-2017-11-17. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: INSTRUMENT CLUSTER/PANEL. While using Audi connect, the customer cannot access the online destination search and/or the Google Earth navigation view. ?This service is currently unavailable. Please try again later" message appears in the MMI. The customer may also see an error message in the myAudi portal indicating that one or multiple licenses are expired and must be renewed. Replacing the SIM card or MMI hardware or performing the SVM recovery activation will not remedy the concern.
A911520 2039515-2017-11-17. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 91 number 15-07 dated July 28, 2015. The customer complains that the Audi connect online service in their 2012-2013 A6 or A7 vehicle only reaches 2G service. This bulletin applies only to model year 2012-2013 A6 and A7 vehicles. For other models, see TSB 2039476. This bulletin does not apply to model year 2014 or newer. Starting with model year 2014, the new telephone module was installed in production. Recently, T-Mobile (the service provider for Audi connect) has repurposed some of the GSM spectrum (3G on 2100Mhz band) to maximize 4G LTE coverage in certain metropolitan areas. Devices that do not support 3G service on the 1900MHZ band (including MMI main units of model year 2012-2013 A6 and A7 vehicles) will only receive 2G service when the switch is completed. The change currently only affects the markets listed above, but will affect other markets in coming years. This bulletin will be updated to include these markets as changes occur.

The restrictions vary depending on the vehicle system present.
A901560 2042644-2017-11-17. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE. In vehicles with PR code 9Q7, display content is sporadically not shown in the driver information system and text is superimposed on the information line of the on-board computer. Incorrect software in the instrument cluster.
A171568 2028440-2017-11-17. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: INSTRUMENT CLUSTER/PANEL; FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:STORAGE:TANK ASSEMBLY. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 17 number 14-49 dated April 3, 2014. When the vehicle is completely refueled, the vehicle range (?distance to empty?) that is displayed is different than the vehicle range that was displayed the last time the vehicle was completely refueled. The displayed vehicle range drops inconsistently. After the vehicle is refueled, the displayed vehicle range does not change for a long period of time. When the vehicle is driven on hilly roads for a long period of time, the displayed vehicle range suddenly changes by a significant amount. There are no DTCs related to fuel senders stored in the instrument cluster control module, J285 (address word 17). This condition does not involve or affect the accuracy of the fuel level indicator, but only the estimated distance to empty display on the on-board computer.
A971552 2042450-2017-11-17. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. A rattling noise is heard from the right dash panel area when the car is driven with light acceleration (between 15 mph and 25 mph). The bracket for the starter motor wiring harness has a locating tab that can vibrate.
A701550 2029280-2017-11-17. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: INSTRUMENT CLUSTER/PANEL. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 70 number 15-45 dated April 15, 2015. The customer may report hearing noises from the upper dashboard area when driving on poor roads, making phone calls, or playing music. The noise can be caused by unfavorable tolerances between the instrument panel speaker and the center speaker trim. A speaker that has been incorrectly installed can make the condition worse. Because there is no attachment to the trim carrier in the speaker cut-out, this area is the likely source of the vibration.
A241551 2038212-2017-11-17. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 24 number 14-50 dated August 28, 2014. The engine judders or runs erratically. The vehicle judders during acceleration. No event entry is stored in the engine control module (ECM). The air mass meter is suspected to be faulty. Possible incorrect function on the sensor elements of the air mass meter.
A011307 2029340-2017-11-17. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 01 number 12-62 dated December 12, 2012. MIL on. DTCs are stored in the engine control module (ECM). The faults are caused by an incorrect software setting and can occur under certain driving conditions. In some scenarios, such as extended idling or heavy stop-and-go traffic, a slight misinterpretation of the data can occur and the MIL may be activated.
A011309 2014753-2017-11-17. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 00 number 10-01 dated February 5, 2010. Excessive accumulation of deposits on intake valves, intake manifold, fuel injectors and combustion chambers. Engine runs rough after cold start. Excessive engine cranking time. Hesitations while driving. Rough engine idle. Reduced engine performance. Poor fuel economy. Conditions may be severe enough to illuminate the MIL in conjunction with storage of DTCs for misfire (example: P0300, P030x) and / or lean fuel system (example: P0171, P0174, P1128, P1130, P1136, P1138) in the engine control module (ECM). Condition may be caused by use of contaminated gasoline. Condition may be caused by use of gasoline with a low content of deposit control additives.
A871342 2020124-2017-11-17. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:APPLIANCE:AIR CONDITIONER; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:12V/24V/48V BATTERY. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 87 number 12-37 dated November 16, 2012. Air conditioning is inoperative. The HVAC blower functions normally. Battery discharged; however, when charged, there is no bus silence when vehicle ignition is off. The A/C pressure/temperature sensor, G395, leaks refrigerant. This causes sensor G395 to show an incorrect or implausible value when reading MVBs. An incorrect signal or a low refrigerant level in the system can cause the air conditioning compressor to deactivate. The LIN cable connecting the vehicle electrical system control module, J519, to sensor G395 is pinched or cut. This affects the A4/S4, A5/S5 Coupe and Cabriolet, and Audi Q5 vehicles. The A6 and A8 are not affected by this type of failure. The pressure sensor G395/G65 sends an incorrect signal that prevents bus silence and the battery is discharged. Sensor G395 is a LIN slave of the vehicle electrical system control module. The vehicle electrical system control module transfers the information provided by the sensor via the comfort data bus to the climate control module, J255.
A011258 2031458-2017-11-08. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. MIL on, with one or more DTCs stored in the 01 (Engine Control Module). Under extreme driving conditions, such as a driving profile of mainly short distance (stop and go) driving high crankcase pressure can lead to the above described DTC codes. By changing the crankcase pressure valve to a lower operating pressure this condition can be improved and eliminate the mentioned possible DTC codes. Along with the crankcase pressure being lowered, a new ECM software level is required to compensate for new crankcase pressure.
A011259 2027732-2017-11-08. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 24 number 12-44 dated September 17, 2012. MIL on. DTC P0456 (very small EVAP leak) stored in ECM. No leaks found in the EVAP system. Software update needed.
A941296 2027773-2017-11-08. Service bulletin. EXTERIOR LIGHTING:HEADLIGHTS; EQUIPMENT; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 94 number 12-69 dated March 15, 2012. Part or all of the daytime running lights do not work on vehicles with LED DRLs. For vehicles with halogen DRLs, please reference TSB 2017488, 94 Halogen Daytime running lights do not work. In the past, the daytime running light bulbs were a serviceable part. In this application, the LED strip cannot be replaced, and may have an associated control module. This TSB is for servicing information only.
A011256 2031368-2017-11-08. Service bulletin. FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. MIL on. Engine misfire. Poor performance. Unnecessary High Pressure Fuel Pumps replacement due to Guided Fault Finding test plans not being performed or interrupted when the following DTC?s are present in the engine control module.
A151225 2031085-2017-11-08. Service bulletin. ENGINE; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. MIL on. DTCs for the cam actuators are stored in ECM memory. After the activation of the cam actuator to change to the other cam profile, the pin of the actuator is pushed back in by the cam. This is confirmed by a voltage impulse, which is registered by the engine control unit and confirms the operation. If this does not happen, or not at the right time, a DTC "implausible signal" is saved in ECM memory. Check the distance of the pin tip of the cam actuator for valve lift system to the camshaft when it is not operated with a gauge. The measurement of the tip to the basic camshaft circle outside of the groove must be taken. If this measurement is 0.9mm, the actuator 06E103697J must be installed. The actuator 06E103697J must only be used, if the measurement is 0.9mm or bigger.
A241245 2029340-2017-11-08. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 24 number 12 ? 35 dated August 1, 2012. MIL on with one or more DTCs. DTC P112800 and/or P113000 or P008700 or P244000 and/or P244200 in ECM.
A461226 2031135-2017-11-08. Service bulletin. LANE DEPARTURE; PARKING BRAKE; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. The customer may state the yellow warning for electric parking brake (EPB) appeared once in the instrument cluster, but the warning turned OFF after cycling the ignition and there have been no additional occurrences. The customer may state the adaptive cruise control (ACC) was inoperative once, but resumed operating properly after cycling the ignition and there have been no additional occurrences. DTC is stored in the EPB module. Internal code Param_InterFaultID 24 or 25 may be in the extended environmental conditions. The concern is due to a software glitch in the EPB control module. Concerns related to this software glitch can only occur once. Replacing the EPB module may cause an additional occurrence.

The summaries are NHTSA's. Each bulletin's page links NHTSA's copy of the manufacturer's document.
