Service bulletins for the 2015 Audi A5

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

011386203363012022-10-31. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:IGNITION; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Because there are a number of different misfire faults (unrelated to ignition coil operation) that could cause the MIL to illuminate, proper Guided Fault Finding (GFF) misfire diagnosis must be followed before any ignition coils are replaced.
A901342 2035902-2017-10-31. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:IGNITION. "Ignition lock faulty" message is displayed in the driver information display with the symbol shown at right. DTCs are stored in the comfort system central control unit. The "ignition lock faulty" message can be triggered by many different DTC entries. Presence of the message does not indicate that the ignition switch is faulty; the message typically has a different root cause. Replacing the ignition switch before completing GFF test plans typically does not correct the condition.

The summaries are NHTSA's. Each bulletin's page links NHTSA's copy of the manufacturer's document.
