A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| TSB-10-07-02 | 2010-05-26. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN:CLUTCH ASSEMBLY. AUDI: AVOIDING DAMAGE TO HALDEX CLUTCH AND FINAL DRIVE. THE HALDEX CLUTCH'S OIL FILLER PLUG AND DRAIN PLUG MUST NOT BE CONFUSED WITH THE FINAL DRIVE'S OIL FILLER PLUG AND DRAIN PLUG. THE INTEGRATED HOUSINGS OF THE HALDEX CLUTCH AND FINAL DRIVE, THE DRAIN PLUGS AND THE FILLER PLUGS OF THE TWO SYSTEMS ARE OFTEN MIXED UP. THIS LEADS TO AVOIDABLE MAINTENANCE MISTAKES, WHICH CAN CAUSE THE MALFUNCTION OF THE HALDEX CLUTCH OR THE FINAL DRIVE. *PE |
