Service bulletins for the 2019 ALTA REDSHIFT
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| SVC-TSB-17-003 | 2021-03-22. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. With data from field testing we found that the small wiring harness that connects the Charge Port connector (where the charger?s plug is inserted into the bike) and the Direct Current Charge Port (DCCP) might have the ability to wick water from the Charge Port connector down to the DCCP. In this case moisture in the connecrtor is causing a "short" that the Redshift's ECU could sense. This will cause the Redshift to not accept a charge. |

| SVC-ESB-17-001 | 2021-03-22. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Through ongoing testing, Alta has discovered that off-bike chargers shipped with 2017 Redshift MX (VINs below) can exceed the current rating of a standard 15A 120VAC outlet as found in many homes. Exceeding the current rating of the outlet may cause the building wiring or plug to overheat, potentially leading to a fire. |
| SVC-ESB-18-003 | 2018-09-17. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE. Update firmware to avoid brown-out of accessory module |
