Flash: Body Control Module (BCM) Updates Customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation the technician may find that one or more of the following Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) have been set: ? B25C9 - Driver Door Ajar Switch 2 Stuck Closed. ? U1412-09 - ASU (Alarm Siren Unit) - Component Failures. ? U1413-09 - UAM (Ultrasonic And Antitilt Module) - Component Failures. Customers may comment on the following: ? When the headlamps are placed in "Headlamps Off Delay" mode and the driver door is opened (engine off), the Headlamps On alert chime activates until the headlamps turn themselves off (no chime should be heard while in this mode). This bulletin involves reprogramming the BCM with the latest available software.

Do not replace the Aux pump for this condition without performing this procedure.

Upon further investigation the technician may find that the following DTC has been set: ? C0529-00 - Steering Angle Sensor Module Missing Calibration - No Subtype Information. The customer may experience the following: ? During a key OFF and ON action, rotating the steering wheel without any power assist, the .Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) ON will be activated due to a loss of calibration of the steering angle sensor. After turning the steering wheel lock to lock, the MIL will be switched off. This bulletin involves updating the EPS module with the latest available software. CAUTION! The supplier of this EPS has indicated multiple update steps are required to completely update this EPS prior to returning to the customer.
