Customer letter - On some 2015?16 TLX vehicles, the automatic transmission fluid (ATF) warmer was improperly manufactured and may allow the engine coolant and ATF to mix. If the coolant and ATF mix, the engine and transmission may be damaged and require replacement.

Tech line summary article - Are you feeling a vertical vibration in the front seats, the floor, and the accelerator pedal that starts as early as 50 mph, progressively gets worse as speed increases, then peaks around 70 to 75 mph? To cut down on this vibration, replace the tires with this new part number.

Service bulletin - American Honda is extending the warranty on the 9-speed transmission warmers to 10 years from the original date of purchase with unlimited mileage. This warranty covers vehicles where the engine coolant and ATF mix because of an internal leak in the 9-speed transmission warmer.

Service bulletin - Some 9-speed transmission warmers were improperly manufactured and allow the engine coolant and ATF to mix. If the fluids mix, the engine and transmission may be permanently damaged and require replacement. These vehicles previously had the transmission replaced because the transmission warmers leaked. In rare cases, these vehicles may have also overheated but because the issue was under investigation, a standard repair procedure hadn?t been developed. Further action is needed before the vehicle is completely repaired.
