Service bulletin - The 8-Speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT) has a bump or hard shift when coming to a stop, usually on the downshift from 2nd to 1st. This symptom is intermittent and may be difficult to duplicate. The PCM settings are not properly breaking-in the odd and even clutches.

Tech line summary article - We're getting reports of this issue after doing a remote engine start: * The front seat heaters intermittently won't work. * The heat level indicators come on for 1 second when first touched, then immediately goes off. * The cool level indicators, however, work normally. * The front seat heaters won't respond to voice commands. * Front seat heater operation can only be restored by cycling the ignition and rebooting the navigation system.

Service bulletin - During manufacturing of the 9-speed automatic transmission, it is possible that contamination may get into the parking pawl, or the park rod may become dislodged or broken, both of which can prevent the transmission from shifting into park. Although the shift indicator will display ?Park,? the park lock may not engage, allowing the vehicle to roll away and increasing the risk of a crash.

Dealer message - On December 3, 2014 Acura notified NHTSA of a Stop Sale order and Safety Recall for approximately 9,500 TLX V6 vehicles. During manufacturing of the 9speed automatic transmission, it is possible that contamination may cause the parking pawl not to engage or the park rod may have been damaged during assembly and could dislodge, both of which can prevent the transmission from shifting into the Park position. Although the shift indicator will display ?Park?, the Park Lock may not engage allowing the vehicle to roll away, increasing the risk of a crash.

Dealer message - As noted Friday, December 12, we now have a validated inspection procedure with which to clear the stop-sale inventory at your dealership however the special tools required are very limited. To swiftly clear the in-stock inventories AHM personnel will be traveling (beginning Tuesday December 16th), market to market to swiftly inspect and clear these units (or discover the need for repair in certain cases). To clear as many dealership's inventories as quickly as possible we are requesting 100% compliance with these pre-inspection steps.

Dealer message - In Preparation for inventory inspections related to "Rolls In Park" condition on 2015V6TLX9-AT units: Inspectors will be in certain markets clearing inventory as soon as Tuesday afternoon Dec. 16th. Please be prepared prior to the arrival of your inspector so we can quickly clear your inventory and then move to clear other dealerships inventory. If unprepared, inspectors are instructed to move to the next dealership in order to maximize market clearing.

Dealer message - We are happy to announce the team now has a validated inspection procedure for clearing (and repairing if needed) these vehicles. We will be working over the weekend to mature and train on this procedure. As soon as next week we plan to have teams in markets inspecting and clearing dealer inventories. Specifics will be communicated as soon as they are available.
B17070B2017-08-15. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:TORQUE CONVERTER; POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. Service news article - Because of a transmission case casting flaw, the inside of the torque converter bracket hole in some 9-speed A/Ts is porous enough that ATF could leak from the hole. This flaw was found by the transmission factory during production.
