Today, February 26, 2016, American Honda Motor Co., Inc. is announcing a Product Update for certain ILX, RLX, RLX Hybrid, and TLX model years 2014-16 vehicles for sale in the state of Hawaii to amend Monroney labels that were printed without bumper impact information.
SB-16-011 032322021-05-14. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:OTHER:LABELS. BACKGROUND On the Monroney label, the bumper compliance statement is missing. Do an iN VIN status inquiry to make sure the vehicle is shown as eligible. Vehicles affected by this campaign may be in your new vehicle inventory. Repair these vehicles before they are sold. No action is needed on vehicles that have been sold. CORRECTIVE ACTION Attach the Monroney update label to the window area next to the Monroney label.
DLR-16-0112021-05-07. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:OTHER:LABELS. Basic Problem American Honda had a computer programming issue; an obsolete program name causing printing of no bumper impact information on the Monroney label for the state of Hawaii. The Repair All vehicles affected and with the error on the Monroney label in dealer stock shall receive an additional sticker to be placed next to the Monroney label. The sticker includes the bumper impact compliance information required by Hawaii law.

Dealer message - As noted Friday, December 12, we now have a validated inspection procedure with which to clear the stop-sale inventory at your dealership however the special tools required are very limited. To swiftly clear the in-stock inventories AHM personnel will be traveling (beginning Tuesday December 16th), market to market to swiftly inspect and clear these units (or discover the need for repair in certain cases). To clear as many dealership's inventories as quickly as possible we are requesting 100% compliance with these pre-inspection steps.
