Service campaign MC230125

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

MC3305242025-07-31. Service bulletin. In some R 1300 model motorcycles, it has been detected that the rear wheel swingarm has play in theaxial direction. The mounting of the swingarm to the frame is comparable to the F and S model motorcycles. During the mounting of the swingarm axle, this creates different tensions from motorcycle to motorcycle pulling theframe together. Resulting in little to no axial play allowing axial movement on the swingarm axle.
