Service bulletin SA-013-24
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary
Some vehicles may exhibit a steering shimmy or body vibration during the PDI test drive or during the first few miles of driving after the vehicle has been delivered to the customer due to flat spots on the tires. Flat spots on tires may be caused by improper maintenance during dealer storage (e.g.: Vehicle was left stationary for a prolonged period of time in high ambient temperatures).

| 02-003-26a | 2026-10-01. Service bulletin. This bulletin supersedes the previously issued bulletin(s) listed below. The changes are noted in Red. 02-003/26 06/24/26 DESCRIPTION Some vehicles have reported faster than expected tire wear for vehicles equipped with OEM "Falken 275/45/21" tires, without outside influence such as low tire pressure or out of specification alignment, and the tire life may not meet customer expectations. To eliminate this concern, the tire contact patch pressure has been optimized. |

| SA-053-26 | 2026-09-04. Service bulletin. This Service Alert supersedes the previously issued bulletin(s) listed below. The changes are noted in Red text. SA-006/23 01/23/23 DESCRIPTION Some customers may complain about the infotainment system and/or the MyMazda App showing incorrect clock and/or tire pressures and/or tire pressure missing. This may be caused by: Incorrect calendar entry (month/day/year) after a battery disconnect Infotainment system software update. BCM TPMS unlearn during vehicle storage or transport. Wheel/Tire change REPAIR PROCEDURE This can be corrected by the customer driving the vehicle for a day or two so that the following will occur. |
| SA-028-26a | 2026-07-08. Service bulletin. DESCRIPTION Some vehicles may exhibit a clicking, popping, tapping or knocking noise from the front end when turning left or right and accelerating. NOTE: The noise could occur at different steering wheel angles or power levels. Due to the insulating properties of the suspension and chassis, it can be difficult to determine which driveshaft is at fault by listening from inside the vehicle. See the attached video for an example of an outer CV joint clicking. These noises may be caused by the outer ball joint cage machining being out of specification. To eliminate this concern, tighter quality controls have been implemented to ensure proper machining of the cage window. NOTE: The part number for the improved part has not been changed. The current parts inventory is after the countermeasure production date implementation. |
| 02-003-26 | 2026-07-03. Service bulletin. DESCRIPTION Some vehicles have reported faster than expected tire wear for vehicles equipped with OEM "Falken 275/45/21" tires, without outside influence such as low tire pressure or out of specification alignment, and the tire life may not meet customer expectations. To eliminate this concern, the tire contact patch pressure has been optimized. REPAIR PROCEDURE Verify the customer concern (inspect the tires, verify tread depth, and replace all the tires as required on the vehicle according to the following "Inspection Requirements" and the instructions in MGSS (WHEEL AND TIRE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION). Mazda Warranty is providing case by case goodwill processing information regarding tire wear complaints on CX-90, and CX-70 vehicles equipped with OEM 21” 275/45/21 Falken tires. This goodwill assistance process does not include any other tire brand or size. |
| 02-002-26 | 2026-06-02. Service bulletin. Some vehicles may exhibit a creaking or squeaking noise from the lower control arm at the front suspension when traveling over a bump while turning at low-speed. A stick-slip phenomenon may occur between the stopper rubber (2) and the bracket (3) in the front lower arm (rear) (1). To eliminate this concern: Grease has been applied to the stopper rubber. Dust covers have been installed to the lower arm. The mounting hole size of the lower arm bracket has been modified. |
| SA-028-26 | 2026-05-04. Service bulletin. DESCRIPTION Some vehicles may exhibit a clicking, popping, tapping or knocking noise from the front when turning left or right and accelerating. NOTE: The noise could occur at different steering wheel angles or power levels. Due to the insulating properties of the suspension and chassis, it can be difficult to determine which driveshaft is at fault by listening from inside the vehicle. See the attached video for an example of an outer CV joint clicking. Repair Procedure: Replace the affected driveshaft after confirming the source of the noise using chassis ears. Both driveshafts may be faulty; verify each side before replacement. |
| 02-001-26 | 2026-05-03. Service bulletin. Some customers may complain that an abnormal noise is heard from the front suspension when driving on rough road surfaces or when passing over speed bumps. This is caused by insufficient heat resistance of the bushing material under specific operating conditions, resulting in cracking and fluid leakage in the front lower arm bushing. To eliminate this concern: The bushing material has been changed to a heat-resistant material. The bushing shape has been modified to reduce deformation. The damping characteristics of the front lower arm bushing have been modified. REPAIR PROCEDURE If noise is detected, replace the front lower arm (rear side) according to the instructions in MGSS. |
| SA-002-26 | 2026-02-03. Service bulletin. Some customers may complain that the tire sidewalls are distorted or "damaged". Sidewall waviness/indentations/undulations are common on radial tires and are more noticeable on tires with taller sidewalls. The higher the tire pressure, the more noticeable the effect will be. Be sure to set the tire pressures at the recommended tire pressure on the vehicle tire label. Sidewall indentations are a cosmetic condition that does not affect the performance of the tires. |
| SA-057-25 | 2026-01-03. Service bulletin. A technician may report that DTC U0415:68 - VCM (Vehicle Control Module) cannot be cleared after replacing the DSC (Dynamic Stability Control) module. |
| SA-051-25 | 2025-12-05. Service bulletin. Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH) Diagnostic Guidelines Diagnostic Guidelines When diagnosing NVH concerns, it is essential to first classify the issue into one of three primary categories: Noise, Vibration, or Harshness. Many customer complaints may involve overlapping symptoms, such as both noise and vibration, so identifying the dominant characteristic is critical. Once the primary symptom is determined, follow the appropriate diagnostic path. For example, if a concern includes both noise and vibration but is related to vehicle speed, the vibration diagnostic path should be followed. When considering component replacement during the diagnostic process, it is best practice to start with the lowest cost or most accessible part unless diagnostic evidence clearly identifies a more expensive or complex component as the root cause. This approach helps minimize repair costs and avoids unnecessary part replacements. For example, a growling or bearing whine noise may be mistakenly attributed to internal components in the differential, transfer unit, or transmission, when the actual source is a wheel bearing. Misdiagnosis like this can lead to unnecessary repairs, added time and cost. To help prevent this, always follow the guidelines in the repair procedure. |
