Service bulletin 24B05
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| TSB 26-2375 v2 | 2026-10-13. Service bulletin. NOTE: This bulletin has been updated, refer to the change log at the bottom for details. Issue: Some of the vehicles listed in the Model statement above may exhibit all of the following conditions: • Poor shift quality • Illuminated powertrain malfunction (wrench) indicator with DTCs P2704 and P0771 stored in the PCM / TCM . This may be due to a calibration in the TCM and/or wear between the input shaft and the E clutch hub causing theinput shaft O-rings to become damaged resulting in an open E clutch circuit. Action: For vehicles that meet all of the criteria in the Issue and Model statements, follow the Service Procedure toreprogram the PCM / TCM and/or replace the E clutch hub and input shaft O-rings |

| SSM 55218 | 2026-10-06. Service bulletin. For 20202026 vehicles equipped with the 10R140 transmission, a new Transmission Clutch Circuit Leak Test has been introduced in the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS). This test utilizes the pressure and vacuum transducer (PVT) when available. Workshop Manual (WSM) updates related to this diagnostic procedure are planned for release in Q4 2026. The new test improves the accuracy of detecting leaks within transmission fluid circuits and replaces the previous air check method. The previous air check procedure has been shown to produce a high rate of false positives, which may lead to unnecessary repairs when no actual leak is present. Accordingly, the air check procedure is not to be used for diagnosing internal transmission hydraulic leaks or as justification for transmission replacement. |
| TSB 26-2408 | 2026-09-30. Service bulletin. This bulletin supersedes 26-2309. Reason For Update: update the Model section to remove Aviator 10R80, update the Parts list to add 3.3L to W520514-S440, and add L1MZ-7Z490-G valve body separator plate for Aviator. Some of the vehicles listed in the Model statement above may exhibit at least one of the following conditions: * Harsh 3-4, 4-5 upshifts * Harsh 5-3, 4-3 downshifts * Harsh reverse engagements These symptoms may be worse when cold. This may be due to the F clutch friction plates brinelling into the clutch and planetary container cylinder (7B177). |
| TSB 26-2375 | 2026-08-19. Service bulletin. This article supersedes TSB 26-2050 to increase the labor operation allowance of labor operations A and B. Some of the vehicles listed in the Model statement above may exhibit all of the following conditions: Poor shift quality Illuminated powertrain malfunction (wrench) indicator with diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) P2704 and P0771 stored in the PCM/TCM. This may be due to a calibration in the TCM and/or wear between the input shaft and the E clutch hub causing the input shaft O-rings to become damaged resulting in an open E clutch circuit. Additional model information: 6.7L Diesel Engine 2022-2024 F-550 or F-600 F-Super Duty vehicles built on or before 15-May-2024 with over 5,000 miles (8,000km) |
| SSM 54976 | 2026-07-07. Service bulletin. Some 2023-2026 F-53 Motorhome Chassis/F-59 Commercial Stripped Chassis and 2024-2026 F-650/F-750/E-Series vehicles equipped with a 6R140 transmission may be limited to 5th gear and reverse gear only. Additionally, the driver will be able to shift back to park. Diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) P2701, P2704, P0757, and/or P0733 may be stored in the powertrain control module (PCM). This may be due to PCM software being unable to command the transmission solenoid clutch actuators when the battery has a low state of charge (SOC) and/or the vehicle has been jump started. To restore proper transmission functionality, charge the battery as stated in the Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 414-01 Charging System > General Information. Cycle the ignition on then off and leave the vehicle off for 5 minutes to confirm the condition is no longer present. To prevent this issue from reoccurring, refer to the Owner's Manual > Storing Your Vehicle > Preparing Your Vehicle for Storage > 12V Battery.
