Customers may also comment on one or more of the following: ● Vehicle does not start / engine does not crank. ● Extended engine cranking time when starting the vehicle. ● Engine turns on when requesting cabin heat to turn on. ● Loss of heat from the engine. ● 12V battery overcharged prevention. ● Corrected fuel consumption counter while in charge depleting. ● Corrections to allow the vehicle to clear the permanent fault codes. ● Technicians and/or customers may report the vehicle will not pass a state smog check due to permanent fault codes which will not clear. As a result, the vehicles are not eligible to be registered in certain states. This bulletin involves reprogramming the **HCP and then the AHCP** with the latest available software.
