| 01-014-21-3840 | 2021-10-31. Service bulletin. Some vehicles may exhibit the CHECK ENGINE light on with DTC P011B:00 (Engine coolant temperature/IAT: Correlation error) when using an engine block heater which is set up by MCI as local accessory parts. Due to variation of block heater performance and environmental conditions against the SKYACTIV-G 2.5T engine, the PCM has difficulty detecting block heater operation. To eliminate this concern, the control software of the PCM has been modified to increase the margin for the block heater detection performance to the similar level as 2019 and later models. |
| SA-036-21 | 2021-06-03. Service bulletin. Some vehicles may have one of the following DTCs stored in memory along with a system status notice on the Multi-information display OR display a system status notice with no DTC: C1001:92 - Forward sensing camera (FSC) poor field of view [Gen 6 vehicles], B14F0:92 - General temporary failure in forward sensing camera (FSC) [Gen 7 vehicles build on or before March 2, 2019], No DTC - Gen 7 vehicles built after March 2, 2019, DTC C1001:92 or B14F0:92 set as a past record for low visibility of the Forward Sensing Camera (FSC). | 15-003-20-3737a | 2020-11-03. Service bulletin. Some vehicles may exhibit that the SBS/SCBS warning light (amber) turns ON right after the engine is started with DTC U0420:68 [FSC] (Error signal received from electric power steering (EPS) control module) stored in memory. For Mazda6 and CX-5, the following error messages may appear in the instrument cluster. • Front camera sensor system malfunction • Forward Smart City Brake Support Malfunction • Driver attention alert system malfunction. This may be caused by the battery voltage falling and the EPS control module failing the initial learning for the steering center position while cranking. The FSC detects the error notified by the EPS control module. To correct this concern, the control software of the EPS control module has been modified while the repair procedure modifies the FSC for earlier repairs in the market. |

| 15-004-19-3639 | 2019-10-04. Service bulletin. Some customer's may complain that In heavy rain, the front parking sensor system detects objects despite nothing being in front of the vehicle, and no related DTCs are stored. This may be caused by the ultrasonics diffusing inside when the front parking sensors get wet. As a result, the parking assist unit mistakenly detects objects near the front of the vehicle. To correct this issue, the detecting logic in close range has been improved. |
| 09-033-19-3590 | 2019-08-21. Service bulletin. Some vehicles may exhibit the rear parking sensor beeping without any obstacles behind it when the shift lever is shifted into Reverse. This concern only occurs when the rear USB power outlet (1) is broken. This is caused by noise from USB interference with the harness of the rear parking sensor (when the USB power outlet is broken). To correct this issue, the configuration of the USB power outlet has been changed to improve durability. |
