00540 - Service Update (revised bulletin number - 16001 converted to 00540 and Service Procedure revised). This bulletin provides a service procedure to reprogram the power inverter module with an active damping calibration on certain 2016 model year Chevrolet Volt vehicles. These vehicles may experience a light surge "chuggle" sensation while driving in charge sustaining mode (battery depleted) at speeds of 35-65 mph (55-105 kmh).
