NHTSA's summary

This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles with the inside door panel material appearing to be pulling back from the door panel backing. Technician will check the windows for aftermarket window tint. Since this failure is not the result of a manufacturer defect, it would not be considered for coverage under a General Motors Warranty.
