What is wrong
Issue:
On certain vehicles, a software problem could cause the instrument panel cluster display(s) not to display properly, or at all when the vehicle is started. As a result, you may not be able to see certain information about the vehicle, including the speedometer, fuel gauge, warning lights and malfunction tell-tales.
Note: For the GV70 model, this recall affects both the GV70 and Electrified GV70 (EV) models.
Safety Risk:
Warnings, tell-tales and gauges that don't display could increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:
Genesis will notify owners in writing and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the instrument panel cluster display software.

Bulletins for the same vehicles and component
| 26-AD-001G | 2026-03-30. Service bulletin. In the following cases, the front camera auto-calibration range may be exceeded while driving: • If the front camera is not properly installed and is completely or partially detached. • In case of excessive changes affecting the vehicle's balance (e.g., loading excessively heavy cargo in a specific location of the vehicle, or significant under-inflation of the tires). • Specific road conditions affecting the vehicle's balance (e.g., excessive road crown) This TSB provides instructions on how to service the vehicle when the front camera related warning light(s) are triggered due to system out of calibration (DTC_C272246). |

| 25-BD-012H TSB | 2025-11-12. Service bulletin. This bulletin provides information regarding condensation related to the accumulated moisture in the headlamp, rear combination lamp, daytime running lamp (DRL), or fog lamp. This TSB illustrates the various causes of condensation inside the lamp assembly. Lamp assembly replacement is NOT necessary in most cases. This condition can be eliminated by turning on the lamps with the engine running for several minutes or during normal driving operation. |
| 24-BE-003G | 2024-02-05. Service bulletin. This bulletin provides information on the Integrated LED Control Unit (ILCU) which is now available as a separate service part from the head lamp assembly for certain G70 (IK), GV70 (JK1), GV70 Electrified (JK1a EV), and GV80 (JX1) vehicles. For G70 (IK) vehicles, the ILCU is called LED Drive Module (LDM). In cases where the head lamp assembly needs replacement due to exterior damage such as a cracked lens, broken housing, etc., it is recommended to replace the head lamp sub-assembly only (not the entire head lamp assembly) and reuse the existing ILCU or LDM if no problem is found with it. |
A bulletin is the manufacturer's note to its dealers. It is not part of this recall.
