| 17V221000 | 2017-03-31. STEERING: STEERING WHEEL/HANDLE BAR. Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA (Yamaha) is recalling certain 2015-2017 FJ-09, FZ-09, and XSR900 motorcycles. The lower handlebar holder may loosen due to a painting issue and the inadequate application of the thread-locking agent. Built 2013-08-01 to 2017-01-31. |

| 15V176000 | 2015-03-25. POWER TRAIN:MANUAL TRANSMISSION. Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA (Yamaha) is recalling certain model year 2015 FJ-09 (FJ09F/FC), FZ-09 (FZ09F/FC), FZ6R (FZ6RF/FC), Super Tenere (XTZ12F/FC), Super Tenere ES (XTZ12EF/EFC), and R6 (YZF-R6) motorcycles manufactured September 1, 2014, to November 17, 2014. The affected motorcycles may have an incorrectly manufactured shift cam segment stopper, having a sharp edge on the inside of the bend instead of a smooth radius. As a result, the stopper can crack and possibly fracture at this sharp edge. Built 2014-09-01 to 2014-11-17. |
| 2017214 | 2017-04-13. Structure. On certain motorcycles, the lower handlebar holder may have been painted improperly, and fasteners may not have had sufficient thread locking compound applied. Excessive paint thickness could allow clearance to develop as paint wears, and bolts could loosen. As a result, the handlebar holder could separate from the handlebar crown, which would result in a loss of control and a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace lower handlebar holders. Note: In the interim, owners are advised to stop riding their motorcycles until the defect has been repaired. |

| 2015134 | 2015-03-26. Powertrain. On certain motorcycles, the shift cam segment stopper on the transmission may not have been manufactured properly. This could cause the stopper to crack and break overtime which could result in a missed shift or engagement of a different gear than intended. This could increase the risk of a crash resulting in injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the shift shaft assembly with an updated version. |
A campaign lists a year, a make and a model, and often only some of the vehicles built. A list with nothing on it is not a clearance either. The lookups below check one VIN.
