This may happen intermittently or permanently. The customer may also see the vehicle position as incorrect in the Volvo On Call mobile app Service: *A further improved VCM software has been developed to prevent this symptom (now included in the current Total Upgrade, Service 2.0, and PDS software packages). Service: In case of customer complaints of a loose park assist sensor bracket, follow the instruction to assemble a foam block on the bracket to increase the clamping force.

For cars built after chassis number 22196 or are already have the latest brake pads, try to hold the repair until the new rear brake disc is available.

This is a Technical Journal: P-SIM = Personal Subscriber Identity Module When using the in-car modem and P-SIM connection, the following symptoms may appear: 1 - In car apps such as TuneIn and Pandora connect to the service but say "Connecting..." when trying to play music. 2 - When a device is connected to the vehicle's WiFi hotspot, it will redirect to an AT&T website such as the one in the attachment Wifi Connection Message.jpg The above symptoms are due to the data plan for the P-SIM expiring. There is no fault with the vehicle. Should a customer present one of the above complaints, please direct them to the support site for instructions on how to renew the data plan for the P-SIM.

A new IHU (Integrated Head Unit) software with changed functionality has been introduced in week 46, 2016. Download a Total Upgrade in accordance with VIDA (Vehicle Information and Diagnostics for Aftersales) instructions and TJ 31543. The new software can be used on all cars from production start.

This is a Technical Journal: If the vehicle is turned off and restarted again within 1-10 minutes, the P-SIM may not be working. ?No connection to service? will then be shown in the Download Center. When this symptom occurs, it will not be possible to download or upgrade any in-car Apps via the Car Modem P-SIM connection to internet. This symptom may occur after an Upgrade or Reload of the TEM done after week 27, 2016. Service: To temporarily fix this issue, the previous TEM software version may installed by downloading SP 31494965 to establish functional P-SIM communication. After loading the software with VIDA, make sure Auto Time is selected in the Settings menu, drive the car outside and wait for the clock to update. Then shut the car off, close and lock the doors. After 3 minutes, re-start the car and attempt to make a connection with the Car Modem.

Always replace both together, seat cushion upholstery and seat cushion foam . Both sides (Driver and/or passenger) should not be replaced as a pair if only one side has an issue. The backrest does not have to be replaced if only the seat cushion has an issue.
