Service bulletins for the 2013 Volvo XC60

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

This TJ describes some of the known issues that have been reported and the most effective repairs. As with all A/C issues the customers concern should be dupilcated, a Climate control system check should be performed and it should be confimed that the system has the correct charge.
TJ199672017-08-03. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT ADAPTIVE/MOBILITY; EQUIPMENT:APPLIANCE:AIR CONDITIONER. Blisters/bubbles may appear on the air vent surfaces. The blistering of the material is often caused by an air freshener applied directly to the air vents. Do not attach any sort of air freshener directly on air vents.

The summaries are NHTSA's. Each bulletin's page links NHTSA's copy of the manufacturer's document.
