The symptom occurs when the ERS attempt via the Volvo Cars app is made immediately after the engine has been turned off and the car has been locked.

If the BECM "voltage after fuse" values (front and rear) are greater than the high voltage battery, the BECM needs to be replaced.

This is a TJ - Text and 2 Attachments - 1 .PDF file and 1 .MVE file - We’re currently investigating an issue where the navigation map in the driver display may appear as a red and white checkerboard or may not show at all (black screen), either at start-up or while driving.
 To temporarily resolve the issue, press and hold the Home button on the center display for 20 seconds to restore the map view.
 We’re working on an improvement, and this information will be updated as soon as a countermeasure is available.

 Loosen the oil filling cap a little bit and turn engine off again to see if affects the noise.
 If sound is gone with cap loosened, replace the camshaft seals according to instructions in VIDA.

Vehicles equipped with the large HBAT27 (82?kWh) battery are capable of DC charging at up to 205?kW, provided certain conditions are met—such as a low State of Charge (<20% SoC) and active battery preconditioning (by selecting a DC charger in Google Maps at least 20 minutes before arrival).

Volvo Cars USA LLC and Volvo Cars Canada LTD on behalf of the Volvo Car Corporation has decided to launch Service Campaign S10318 – Decal Charge Lid on certain model year 2021 -2026 XC40, EX40, EC40 and C40 Battery Electric (BEV) vehicles.&#13; Volvo Cars has expanded its public charging access around North America. To access, Volvo Cars is making the North American Charging Standard (NACS) adapter available to drivers of current fully electric Volvo Cars. Volvo only supports the usage of a Volvo approved adapter.&#13; To avoid misuse, Volvo Cars will affix a NACS adapter warning label inside the charging lid.&#13; S10318 affects 8,492 vehicles in the U.S. and 2,147 in Canada.&#13;
