Volvo Car USA LLC and Volvo Car of Canada Ltd on behalf of Volvo Car Corporation, has decided to launch Service Campaign A39894 on certain model year 2019 XC90, XC60, V90CC, V90 and S90 vehicles. Volvo has identified that the vehicles equipped with a front and/or rear park assist system may not function as intended. However the rear park assist camera functions as intended. The corrective action is to perform a Total Upgrade.

Service: Affected software packages: - Total Upgrade - Service 2.0 - PDS (Pre-Delivery Service) - VDDM_PBL (Vehicle Dynamics Domain Master Primary Bootloader) - DIM Upgrade or Reload Any vehicle that received one of the software packages listed above from May 8th, 2017 to May 11th, 2017 will have received the DIM graphic. From May 12th, 2017 and on, if any of the software packages listed above are loaded to a car that has received the new graphic, it will be removed. Vehicles built from structure week 2017w17 to 2017w22 will have the graphic in the car from the factory but it will be removed when any of the software packages listed are loaded. Do NOT replace, reload or upgrade any components for customer complaints of this function missing. This function will be re-added to the DIM software at a later date that is to be determined.
