Service bulletins for the 2006 Volkswagen Touareg

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

332 on file from NHTSA, as of 2026-10-19.

TT20061012023-07-10. Service bulletin. SERVICE BRAKES, AIR:SUPPLY:PRESSURE GUAGE; SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC. If you have a complaint of DTCs for the low side fuel pressure being out of specification (e.g. P310B), check the fuel pressure with BOTH a mechanical gauge and by the display in Measured Value Block 103. The readings should be 1 bar higher in the MVB due to reading atmospheric pressure + fuel pressure. If the mechanical gauge reading is within specification BUT the MVB 103 reading is not 1 bar higher, check for a possible faulty G410 Low Fuel Pressure sensor.
TB-01-07-692010-05-24. Service bulletin. FUEL SYSTEM, OTHER:STORAGE:FUEL GAUGE SYSTEM; FUEL SYSTEM, OTHER:STORAGE:TANK ASSEMBLY:PRESSURE RELIEF DEVICES. VOLKSWAGEN: MIL ON, DTC P129F AND/OR P310B STORED IN ECM FAULT MEMORY. DUE TO FUEL INTRUSION INTO THE LOW PRESSURE SIDE FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR-G410, A FALSE SIGNAL MAY BE SENT TO THE ECM RESULTING IN A READING THAT IS OUT OF TOLERANCE. *PE

MIL ON AND DTC P310B AND/OR P129F STORED IN THE ECM FAULT MEMORY. A MALFUCTION OF FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR-G410 (LOW PRESSURE SIDE) MAY CAUSE AN INCORRECT FUEL PRESSURE READING FROM THE ECM. THIS CONDITION MAY RESULT IN MIL ILLUMINATION AND DTC'S STORED IN FAULT MEMORY. *PE
