Update Bulletin2019-04-01. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT; ENGINE; POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:CONTROL MODULE (TCM/PCM/TECM). UPDATE Technical Bulletin (UPDATE ? 24Y4 MPI Software): This update has been proactively released to prevent slight hesitation concerns. If vehicle is equipped with an automatic transmission, TCM must be reprogrammed along with the ECM. If vehicle is equipped with a manual transmission, only ECM programming is required. Current ECM programming may be causing slight hesitation related concerns on vehicles equipped with 2.0 liter CBPA engines (depending on driving conditions). The production solution to this issue was Improved ECM/TCM software was introduced to address drivability concerns and slight hesitation complaints.

Technical Bulletin (TDI Clean Diesel I/M (Inspection Maintenance) Testing Issues due to Readiness Not Set): Some readiness codes on TDI clean diesel vehicles require special driving conditions to be set. If DTCs have been recently erased from the vehicle?s ECM, it may take additional driving under different conditions to fully set OBD readiness parameters. MVB 89 (on non-UDS protocol ECM?s) will store correct data concerning OBD readiness. This document illustrates how to manually read OBD readiness codes.
TT 93-12-012019-04-01. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Tech Tips (Drive Motor Position Not Learned, Fault P0C4E): The drive motor position will need to be relearned after DTC codes have been cleared, battery has been disconnected or a recharge of the 12 volt battery has taken place. The VAS PC and ODIS programs will have the technician perform this task at the end of diagnostics and module fault code erasing. This can also be accomplished without the need for a scan tool if this recalibration procedure is followed after a battery disconnect, recharging of a low 12V battery or code clearing with a generic scan tool. This document informs how the vehicle learns the Drive Motor Position.
TT 17-13-012019-04-01. Service bulletin. ENGINE. Tech Tips (1.8T or 2.0T engines (CPRA, CPLA, CPPA), No/ low oil pressure at idle or oil pressure light on): This document informs to check under the oil filter for the mandrel to be missing. This must be transferred from the old filter and re-installed. The most likely scenario for this to occur is after an oil change.
V211302 20240612019-04-01. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:EXHAUST SYSTEM. The production solution to this issue is New software being implemented in current production.
TT 26-13-032019-04-01. Service bulletin. FUEL SYSTEM, DIESEL; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Tech Tips (CBEA, CJAA, CKRA engine codes DPF replacement and/or DTCS P2413, P2463): This document informs of the use of aftermarket air filters such as cotton bed steel mesh or cone style, can cause the MAF sensor to not read accurately, affecting vehicle performance and critical monitoring functions for the diesel particulate filter. This can also result in premature DPF failure. Only use factory air filters. The use of aftermarket air filters is not supported as the system was designed and calibrated to work with factory air filters.
