TT9614052023-06-13. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:IGNITION:ANTI-THEFT:IMMOBILIZER/PROXIMITY:KEY/SENDER; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. To adapt keys to a 2015 Golf or Golf GTI, it is necessary to complete the ?Adapt Immobilizer? test plan. This test plan can be found under the ODIS Special Functions Tab (figure 1) or by navigating to ?Immobilizer functions? under ?Elect. Immobilizer 5A? after clicking the ?Select self test? button in the Test Plan tab (figure 2). This procedure adapts both the remote and immobilizer functions of the key.

Cars delivered with a full body cover, will have temporary wiper blades installed in the front and the permanent wiper blades will be in the trunk of the vehicle. Vehicles delivered without a full body cover will have the permanent wiper blades installed.

Below you can see it is easy to tell the difference. When performing a PDI, check to make sure the correct cables are included in the by-pack. If a missing or incorrect cable is found please open a VTA during the launch period.
