20061762006-07-07. Other. On certain motorcycles, the welded joint on the shift lever shaft may fail causing the shift lever to become inoperable. If this component separates at the welded joint, the transmission cannot be shifted and will remain in the gear that was selected prior to the joint breaking. Correction: Dealers will replace the shift lever shaft.
20052242005-08-08. Fuel System. On certain motorcycles, fuel hose construction may not meet manufacturer specifications and may fail. A failure of the fuel hose would cause a fuel leak which, in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if required, replace the fuel pressure line.
