A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| Pol-08-04 | 2018-04-23. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE:FRAME AND MEMBERS. Warranty Policy Bulletin (POL08-04): Toyota received isolated reports regarding a small number of 2001 through 2004 model year Tacoma vehicles operated in severe cold climate areas with high road salt use. They were reported to be exhibiting excessive rust causing perforation of the frame. Toyota investigated these reports and determined that the frames for this small number of vehicles may not have adequate corrosion-resistant protection for use in this environment. This combined with prolonged exposure to road salts and other environmental factors may contribute to the development of excessive rust in the frames of some vehicles. |
| T-SB-0187-12 | 2018-04-23. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE:BODY. Toyota vehicles are equipped with either conventional or run-flat tires. Sometimes punctures may occur as a result of contact with road debris or other hazards. If a puncture occurs, it may be possible to repair the tire and return it to service. With a conventional tire it is not possible to drive for an extended amount of time with the tire at low pressures as damage to the tire may occur. With run-flat tires, due to reinforced sidewalls, it is possible to drive for up to 100 miles (160 km) at speeds less than 55 mph (90 km/h) with little or no damage to the tire. |
| T-TT-0213-13 | 2018-04-23. Service bulletin. AIR BAGS. Any previous printed versions of this bulletin should be discarded. In the event that a Toyota vehicle becomes submerged in water, many components may be physically damaged. Electrical and electronic components, including wiring harnesses, are particularly susceptible to corrosion and subsequent malfunction. Although any flooding can be damaging, salt water flooding elevates the potential for abnormal conditions and may increase risks due to its highly corrosive and conductive nature. Salt residue also continues to corrode and remain conductive even after a vehicle dries. This bulletin is intended to assist with safe handling and inspection of flood damaged vehicles and to provide basic guidance on likely needed repairs. |
