Service bulletins for the 2016 Toyota Highlander
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.
284 on file from NHTSA, as of 2026-10-19.

| T-TT-0352-15 | 2018-04-23. Service bulletin. LANE DEPARTURE. TechTip: In some cases, combination meters may automatically initialize for options detected on a specific vehicle. If a meter is exchanged between vehicles for diagnostic purposes, it may become unusable in the original vehicle. For example, if a combination meter is removed from a vehicle not equipped with LDA (Lane Departure Alert) and temporarily installed in a vehicle equipped with LDA, it may display ?CHECK LDA SYSTEM? on the multi-information display and set DTC U023A when reinstalled in the original vehicle. This condition cannot be reset, and the combination meter must be replaced. |
