Recalls that may apply to the 2022 Toyota GR86

A recall listed here may apply to a vehicle of this year, make and model. Only the manufacturer can say whether it applies to one vehicle: check the VIN with the official lookups.

By component

United States: NHTSA, as of 2026-10-19
23V6090002023-08-31. EXTERIOR LIGHTING:TURN SIGNAL. Subaru of America, Inc. (Subaru) is recalling certain 2022 BRZ and Toyota GR86 vehicles. The rear turn signals may intermittently become inoperative.
Canada: Transport Canada, as of 2026-10-19
20234842023-08-31. Lights And Instruments. Issue: On certain vehicles, the rear turn signals may suddenly turn off if a bright light (such as bright sunlight) shines directly on them. Safety Risk: Turn signals that don't work properly may cause a person not to recognize when a driver intends to turn or change lanes. Hazard lights that don't work could make the vehicle less visible. Both could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Toyota will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace both rear combination lamp assemblies.

A campaign lists a year, a make and a model, and often only some of the vehicles built. A list with nothing on it is not a clearance either. The lookups below check one VIN.
