24V8780002024-11-21. STEERING. Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Corolla and Corolla Hybrid vehicles. Due to cracks developed during the manufacturing process, the steering intermediate shaft assembly may fracture and possibly result in the shaft detaching from the steering column.
Canada: Transport Canada, as of 2026-10-19
20247102024-11-21. Steering. Issue: On certain vehicles, the upper universal joint on the intermediate steering shaft may not have been manufactured properly and could break. As a result, the steering shaft could separate from the universal joint and cause a loss of steering. Safety Risk: A loss of steering could create the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Toyota will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the intermediate steering shaft.

A campaign lists a year, a make and a model, and often only some of the vehicles built. A list with nothing on it is not a clearance either. The lookups below check one VIN.
